I am sure you have heard them all but this one has a slightly better twist.

Just to review the excuses:
the check is in the mail
as soon as my hunch back friends straightens out I will send the check
the bank burned down so no checks were being honored
my computer which writes the checks was confiscated by the irs
the irs froze my account
the dog ate the check\

there are 12 pages more in the book I bought, “1400 tried and true excuses for not sending the check”

The one that I thought was rather original was the wrong address one. As you can see by the attached envelope with the stamp,( I had those made up for just such occasions) there was a problem with the address.

On a serious vain I did mail the check and as you can see it came back to me but I was not here so was not aware of it. I trust you believe that I would not say I sent a check if I did not.

Thank you for under standing and you might tell Rich what I did as I don’t want him to think I was nit terlling the truth.
